About

One of the most respected ensembles in existence today, I Musici is Italy’s oldest continuously active chamber group. At their first performance in Rome in 1952, I Musici broke all the rules, playing baroque concerti with a tight knit ensemble of just twelve players and no conductor.

Italy’s legendary baroque string ensemble celebrate sixty years of vibrant and virtuosic music-making. Paying homage to their musical heritage with works by Italian masters Rossini, Donizetti and Paganini, culminating with their historic and superlative interpretation of Vivaldi’s magnificent Four Seasons – unmatched for its vigor, dynamism, sensitivity and sheer muscular energy.
