Devised and managed by John Cristian Productions, the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols is one of Australia’s largest broadcast Christmas concert events.
We work in partnership with Brisbane City Council and Nine Network – to present a magical celebration of Christmas and an Australian platform for the most exciting and exceptional musical talent.
Artists and ensembles appearing in 2014 include David Hobson, Darren Percival, Amanda Harrison, Katie Noonan, Emma Pask, Steve Danielsen, Jay Laga’aia, Harrison Craig, Fatai, didgeridoo player William Barton, classical guitarist Karen Schaupp, virtuoso jazz trumpeter, James Morrison, The 7 Sopranos, The Voices of Birralee, Raw Dance, Circa and Chukale – Afro – Cuban Ensemble, supported by a 40-piece professional orchestra, a 60-voice mixed choir and 40 voice children’s choir led by John Foreman (OAM).
John Cristian Productions continues to develop the concert by pioneering new LED staging technologies, mentoring animation and event management students from Queensland University of Technologies and providing opportunities for young Queensland singers.
