About

Presented in partnership with FAMA , PuraVida Roadshow, is a celebrated Latin music touring program that brings the most exciting contemporary bands from the Americas to Australia and New Zealand.

Bred from Bogotá’s fiery and inventive music scene, LA-33 is Colombia’s most famous touring salsa orchestra.La 33 was founded in 2000 by brothers Sergio and Santiago Mejia, drawing influences from retro salsa dura (hard salsa), classic cumbria, ska, Latin jazz and old school New York Boogaloo.

Every since their wildly popular “La Pantera Mambo”, a frenetic mambo take on Henry Mancini’s theme from The Pink Panther, LA – 33 have been the darlings of the contemporary salsa scene and have had crowds across the globe stampeding the dance floor.
