Novalima’s ‘new world’ blend of traditional Afro-Peruvian music with the cutting edge grooves of dub reggae has mesmerised audiences all over the planet.
Novalima was started by four Peruvian musicians living in all four corners of the world (Barcelona, Hong Kong, London, and Lima) with the aim to rediscover and revitalise Afro-Peruvian music. Joined by some of Peru’s most famous folkloric musicians Novalima has been credited by The Guardian (UK) as bringing, ‘the spirit and soul of Peruvian blues into the 21st century’.
